Micah and Caleb

Micah and Caleb met in Frisco back in 2013 and were married on the shores of Lake Dillon in 2020. Their two 9 year-old dogs are Finley and Kyote. The husky was born at GoodTimes Adventures Dogsledding in Breckenridge, where Caleb has worked full time as a musher since 2014. Micah has worked all over Summit, in coffee shops and restaurants, but most recently as a Registered Nurse in St. Anthony’s emergency room. When they're not working, they love to hike, backcountry ski, camp, and just soak in the sunshine. Their lives over the last decade have been deeply intertwined with Summit County, and the Unsheltered program has helped them set down roots here. With housing and rental prices becoming unacceptable to their long-term financial goals, moving full time into their van has allowed them to continue to work towards their dream of purchasing land and starting their family here in Summit. On pace with that goal, Micah just delivered their first baby! In their own words, “We are a small family, living in a very small space, but are so grateful for the opportunity to continue to live in Summit through the Unsheltered program.”
